As a Career Development Facilitator, you will play a critical role in helping job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and Implement Workforce Readiness Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive workforce readiness programs that prepare job seekers for career pathways.
  • Design and Deliver Training Sessions: Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and webinars that equip job seekers with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workforce.
  • Manage Learning Opportunities: Create and maintain a catalog of all learning opportunities available from the Professional Learning team.
  • Coordinate Online Learning Activities: Coordinate online learning activities, assign appropriate courses related to individual employment plans and goals, and monitor progress.
  • Assess and Evaluate Participant Progress: Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure participant progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Development Team: Work with the Talent Development Team to facilitate job search and placement, maximizing retention.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of workshop data, including attendance rosters, evaluations, and other reporting documents.
Requirements
  • Related Bachelor's Degree: A related Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to both oral and written.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated customer service skills, with the ability to work with a variety of cultures, languages, educational and economic backgrounds.
  • Computer Skills: Demonstrated computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office software programs.
  • Facilitation and Public Speaking Skills: Strong facilitation, public speaking, and guided learning background.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to lead learning processes and relate to diverse populations.
