Penske Fleet Maintenance Expert

Penske Truck Leasing is a leading provider of transportation and logistics services. We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team in Sparks, NV.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks, which includes diesel engines, transmissions, and other equipment. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
We offer a competitive salary of $34.50 per hour, plus shift premium pay for second, third shifts, or weekend work. Our benefits package includes generous paid time off, excellent health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, including diesel engines, transmissions, and other equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
