Orthopedic Surgeon

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Hand and Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at University Orthopedics. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with hand, wrist, and forearm conditions. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose conditions related to the hand, wrist, and forearm.
- Perform surgical procedures to treat hand and upper extremity conditions, including fractures, ligament injuries, tendon repairs, and nerve decompressions.
- Manage both acute and chronic conditions affecting the hand, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, arthritis, and congenital anomalies.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of a residency program in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship training in Hand Surgery.
- Board eligible or board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Hand Surgery.
- State medical license.
Compensation:$250,000 - $350,000 per year. The salary is competitive and includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
