Job Description

The Residential Construction Project Supervisor's primary role is to oversee the planning and execution of various construction projects from start to finish to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Project Set-Up: Prepare for preconstruction meetings (reviewing plans, contracts, selections, etc.). Develop a comprehensive construction schedule/calendar for each project. Lead on-site client meetings. Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure a safe, secure, and clean job site at all times. Manage subcontractors (scheduling and open communication). Communicate weekly updates with the office team (updated calendars, pictures, notes). Assist in budget control and issuing purchase orders. Order materials as needed. Create additional work orders (estimating, budgeting, issuing, payment). Foster strong client relationships by communicating regularly and proactively. Perform carpentry tasks as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Administrative Duties: Collect payments specific to each project. Complete necessary paperwork for invoicing. Maintain email communications. Issue purchase orders. Possess basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
