We are seeking a highly skilled Cancer Treatment Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our oncology team, you will be responsible for providing consultative care services to patients with oncology and hematologic diseases.

About the Role

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and assessing patients for high risk of cancer, oncology and hematologic disorders and managing high risk clinic for breast cancer.
  • Using appropriate judgment to work autonomously and collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient care throughout the continuum in a variety of settings.
  • Conducting hospital rounds on assigned oncology/hematology and radiation oncology patients.

You will also have the opportunity to educate physician groups regarding high risk models for breast and GI cancers, as well as counsel individuals and families for high risk of cancer and radiation follow-up.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with relevant experience.
  • New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license or Physician Assistant certification from CAHEA or AANP.
  • Federal and state DEA license and ANCC or AANP certification required for Nurse Practitioners.
