About the Role
This full-time position requires evaluating and assessing patients for high-risk oncology and hematologic disorders. You will need to use appropriate judgment to work autonomously, collaborate with the healthcare team, and manage patient care throughout the continuum. Additionally, you will conduct hospital rounds on assigned oncology/hematology and radiation oncology patients, educate physician groups about high-risk models for breast and GI cancers, and participate in quality assurance initiatives. For Nurse Practitioners, we require a Master's degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, federal and state DEA license, and ANCC or AANP certification. For Physician Assistants, a Baccalaureate degree, CAHEA certification, and two years of experience as a Certified Physician Assistant are required.

Responsibilities
- Evaluates and assesses patients for high-risk oncology and hematologic disorders
- Conducts hospital rounds on assigned oncology/hematology and radiation oncology patients
- Educates physician groups about high-risk models for breast and GI cancers
- Participates in quality assurance initiatives
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to manage patient care throughout the continuum
