Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Structural Engineer to join our team at Modjeski and Masters. This role is essential for the design and analysis of movable bridge structures.

Position Details

Location: Multiple locations available for various experience levels.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • For Entry-Level roles: A valid Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or in the process of obtaining it.
  • For Mid-Level roles: Candidates should be nearing completion of their Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • For Senior roles: A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing structural analysis and design methodologies, tools, and principles.
  • Employing computer-aided design (CAD) software for preliminary detail development.
  • Conducting structural analysis and design of standard bridge components under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Reviewing and verifying structural design calculations and shop drawings.
  • Preparing project-related documentation and internal communications.
  • Performing quantity take-offs from contract plans.
  • Engaging in field and construction services as required.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities

Senior Engineers will take on leadership roles, ensuring project delivery and assisting project managers in identifying challenges and formulating solutions. They will also act as technical leads on complex projects.
