Accountant Job Description

The Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all billing, collections, and correspondence in accordance with our hotel's policies and procedures.

You will assist the sales effort in establishing customer credit, maintain an efficient collection process, and ensure proper internal control by monitoring the guest ledger and advance deposit ledger. Additionally, you will implement credit training in the operating department and monitor and prepare financial reports in accordance with our hotel's requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • College coursework in a related field is helpful
  • Ability to understand and utilize basic computer equipment and applications
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
