Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Administrator to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for administering US government security policies and procedures in managing classified government contract programs as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), including maintaining the structural integrity of the SCIF, managing and monitoring all access, and administering security.
  • Provide support in clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, and physical security, including alarm response for controlled areas associated with both collateral and SCI security programs.
  • Make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions.
  • Interact with internal and external customers or Government security officials to perform security duties.
  • Address routine personnel security matters with employees regarding issues.
  • Report preparation and program security access briefing duties as required.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in Industrial Security Experience as a CSSO or A/CSSO.
  • Experience in database functions, including DISS, eQIP, or PeopleSoft.
  • Knowledge of the NISPOM Rule, DCIDs/ICDs, SCI, COMSEC, and Government security directives.
  • Knowledge of clearance processing, doc control, physical security, including closed areas and SCIFs, Automated Information System security, and SATE TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Completion of DSS Academy FSO Course or CSSO training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of security disciplines, Information, Physical, and COMSEC and their relationship to PERSEC.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Completion of DSS courses, Personnel Security Management, and Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication.
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
