Job Summary:
The Summer Camp Lead will be responsible for creating a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for children participating in our summer day camp program. This role will involve facilitating a variety of activities, ensuring the well-being of campers, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging activities and programs for children.
- Supervise and support staff members in their roles.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
- Collaborate with the Director of Group Leader to plan and deliver lessons and activities.
- Assist with transportation to field trips and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of music instruments and ability to teach music theory.
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Valid California Drivers' License.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic desktop publishing computer programs.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal information.
Job Description Acknowledgment:
