Job Summary

The Associate Director for Planning, Design and Construction is a key member of the Perelman School of Medicine's facilities team, responsible for the development, management, and implementation of construction, renovation, and relocation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and administrators
  • Manage and coordinate with external vendors and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, and 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, facilities management, or a related field. Preferred experience in biomedical research laboratory design within an academic environment.
