Job Title: Vascular Technician

At Hackensack Meridian Health, we are seeking a skilled Vascular Technician to join our team. As a Vascular Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Demonstrate positive behavior and the ability to implement a plan of care.
  • Accurately complete assignments within scheduled time periods.
  • Communicate pertinent patient information and actual or potential problems.
  • Cooperate with reassignments in the interest of patient care.
  • Demonstrate the ability to care for patients by providing safe, direct patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Experience in arterial duplex, ABI/PVR, carotid, venous, venous insufficiency, abdominal aorta, and renal ultrasounds.
  • Ability to perform general sonography.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of vascular ultrasound experience.
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
  • ARDMS-RVT certification or eligible to obtain.
