About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop effective occupational therapy interventions to promote optimal recovery and function.
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of professional practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' goals and needs.
    • Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Patient Education and Support
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-management.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Quality Improvement and Safety
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote a safe and effective work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
