About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, identifying and initiating appropriate occupational therapy interventions, and working collaboratively with other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional occupational therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and function.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies to promote independence and self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
