Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal assistance with daily living activities such as grooming, eating, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Document Service Delivery Logs to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, as well as housekeeping tasks.
  • Support individuals with ambulation and mobility needs.
  • Secure and provide transportation as needed.
  • Reinforce counseling and therapy activities to promote social interaction and development.
  • Assist with medications and delegated tasks from RNs.
  • Supervise and ensure the health, safety, and security of individuals.
  • Facilitate inclusion in community activities and social interactions.
  • Maintain regular attendance and timeliness in duties.
  • Adhere to good work and personal ethics in dealing with colleagues and residents.
Qualifications:
  • A high school education or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Satisfactory completion of criminal background checks and post-offer, pre-employment screenings.
