Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician Certified/Registered Medication History, you will work with pharmacists to prepare medications, screen prescriptions, and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders. You will perform tasks involved with storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs. You will complete associated record keeping and charging activities. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will participate in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with outside departments to identify and rectify problems. You will perform one of the specialized functions described in the job description as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Preferred High School Diploma
- 2-4 years Pharmacy experience Preferred
- 2-4 years Hospital pharmacy experience Preferred
- PTCB - Certified Pharmacy Tech
- PTSR - Pharmacy Tech State Registration
