Pharmacy Technician Certified/Registered Medication History

As a Pharmacy Technician Certified/Registered Medication History, you will work collaboratively with pharmacists to prepare medications, screen prescriptions, and ensure accurate medication orders for patients. This role involves tasks related to storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs, as well as maintaining associated records and charging activities. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and participate in performance improvement activities within the Pharmacy department and with external departments to identify and rectify problems.
Responsibilities- Prepare medications and screen prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Work with pharmacists to ensure accurate medication orders and distribution
- Maintain accurate records and perform charging activities
- Participate in performance improvement activities to identify and rectify problems
- Preferred High School Diploma
- 2-4 years of Pharmacy experience preferred
- 2-4 years of Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- PTCB - Certified Pharmacy Tech
- PTSR - Pharmacy Tech State Registration
