Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician - Certified Medication History at LifeBridge Health, you will work collaboratively with pharmacists to prepare medications, screen prescriptions, and supply patients with accurately filled medication orders. Your tasks will involve storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs, as well as completing associated record-keeping and charging activities. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and participate in performance improvement activities within the Pharmacy and with outside departments to identify and rectify problems.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications and supply patients with accurately filled medication orders
- Screen prescriptions and verify patient information
- Store, distribute, package, and label drugs
- Complete associated record-keeping and charging activities
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in performance improvement activities to identify and rectify problems
Requirements:
- Preferred High School Diploma
- 2-4 years of Pharmacy experience (Preferred)
- 2-4 years of Hospital pharmacy experience (Preferred)
- PTCB - Certified Pharmacy Technician
- PTSR - Pharmacy Technician State Registration
