  • Developing mechanical engineering statements of work
  • Designing and executing projects using various delivery methods
  • Addressing contractor submittals and requests for information
  • Providing design and technical competence for developing and producing complete Statements of Works
  • Representing the FEAD/ROICC at construction sites and monitoring construction Contractor Quality Control
  • Assisting Construction Managers in project coordination
  • Attending and participating in construction and CQC meetings
  • Monitoring and notifying of safety violations
  • Reporting accidents and notifying relevant parties

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5+ years specialized experience in mechanical and plumbing schematic design
  • Intermediate computer skills in office automation software
  • Active Secret clearance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of construction contract requirements
  • Familiarity with QC inspection tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • Extensive technical and practical knowledge and experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician
  • Knowledge of construction technology and industry practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written presentations
  • Ability to interpret plans and specifications
