We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our team in the Core Lab department at UC Health. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing waived and moderately complex lab testing, technical support duties, and pre-analytical processing of specimens.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory testing and technical support duties in a fast-paced environment
- Process and analyze specimens, including registration, accessioning, labeling, and distribution
- Provide clerical support duties, including data entry and record-keeping
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely test results
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's degree or laboratory experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of specimen requirements, laboratory terminology, and assay schedules
- Ability to read and comprehend written information and effectively perform job duties in a stressful environment
