Physical Therapist I Correctional Facility

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at the Correctional Facility. As a Physical Therapist I, you will be responsible for administering physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities- Administer physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.
- Interpret to patients the significance of physical therapy services.
- Comply with all applicable State and federal laws and regulations and departmental policies and procedures pertaining to the physical therapy program.
- Maintain order and supervise the conduct of inmates, and maintain the safety of persons and property and the security of working areas and work materials.
- Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This position requires travel and working in a correctional facility environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
