Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team at Quality Steel Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will provide administrative support and customer service to internal and external team members across various levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a positive and professional welcome to all visitors, including customers, suppliers, community members, candidates, and new hires.
- Assist leaders and teams with administrative tasks, providing high-quality, professional verbal and written communications as required.
- Demonstrate flexibility as priorities shift, collaborating as a team player with a focus towards customer service.
- Balance conflicting priorities to manage workflow, ensure the completion of essential projects, and meeting critical deadlines.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction, swiftly refer problems/issues to the appropriate person(s) when necessary.
- Support and complete special projects for various departments, including accounting, sales, and operations.
- Assist in managing candidates who are interested in working for Quality Steel Corporation, answering phone calls and inquiries, responding with a positive attitude, and working with HR to manage responses to repeat visitors and inquiries.
- Assist with candidates visiting on-site for interviews, ensuring a comfortable and positive welcome. Assist in welcoming new hires, ensuring a supporting, positive first day and answering and directing questions as needed.
- Adapt to new technology and acquire new technical skills as needed.
- Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
- Lead by example, demonstrating Quality Steel Corporation's leadership traits and reinforcing our purpose, core beliefs, and values to all team members.
- Deliver bank deposits and pick up mail from the US Post Office.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in providing administrative support.
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and respect to all visitors and employees for the best experience in all situations.
- Strong organizational skills - keeps timelines and meets deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate at various levels.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently.
- Aligned with highest integrity and family values.
Associates degree in business preferred, relevant work experience will be considered.
