Job Overview

KULE is seeking a highly skilled Design/Production Associate to support our growing business. This role will work closely with the Creative Director and Director of PD/Production to execute seasonal CAD designs, create technical packs, and ensure smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Boards: Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop seasonal CAD designs and execute them on boards.
  • CADs: Create and maintain CADs for all productions and collections, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Tech Design: Work with the Director of PD/Production to create initial tech packs for new styles, ensuring a smooth transition into production and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Sampling: Coordinate with factories to obtain samples and work with the Director of PD/Production to manage the sampling process.
  • Communication: Maintain daily communication with factories via email.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in apparel and tech design.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) with a strong eye for color and design.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and ERP experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of technical design, knitting, and patterning is a plus.
  • Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Full-time in-office position.
