We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Cubitek Inc, a family-owned and operated contract precision machine shop with over 30 years of experience in the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and scientific instrumentation sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and improve automated systems and processes to optimize inspection efficiency.
- Perform first piece inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, and incoming receiving inspection as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop Quality Plans for specific jobs.
- Utilize advanced inspection equipment such as Hexagon Global CMM, Keyence Vision System, and Faro Arm to enhance inspection processes.
- Program PC-DMIS to improve accuracy and efficiency in automated quality checks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quality control, preferably in a precision machining environment.
- Familiarity with CAD software and other related tools.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to read blueprints and check parts to print.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to document technical procedures and user guides.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
