Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for directing the activities of warehouse personnel, overseeing the receiving, production, and shipping of products, and maintaining a high level of visibility and access to employees on the warehouse floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Supervise shipping, receiving, and packing room activities, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Lead by example, train, motivate, and coach warehouse team members to achieve exceptional performance.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counting and reconciliation, and disposition of non-conforming products.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse manager to resolve issues and prioritize tasks.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling equipment maintenance and coordinating with other departments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some advanced education or training necessary to meet competency standards.
  • 6+ years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in industrial, electronics assembly, or aerospace and defense distribution disciplines.
  • Strong inventory control skills, with experience working with distribution software systems and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
