Position Overview: Trophy Point Investment Group is in search of a meticulous and effective Loan Processing Operations Specialist to enhance our loan processing team. This full-time contractor role encompasses various operational responsibilities within the loan processing division, ensuring the seamless and prompt handling of loan applications. The Loan Processing Operations Specialist will report directly to the Loan Processing Operations Manager and will be instrumental in upholding operational accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Management: Aid in the management of loan applications, including data entry, document collection, and verification.
  • Operational Assistance: Support the execution of operational workflows to guarantee timely and precise loan processing.
  • Document Oversight: Review, organize, and maintain loan documentation, ensuring all required documents are collected and accurately logged.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality assessments on loan files and documentation to ensure adherence to company policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory mandates.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with other departments, including underwriting, loan servicing, and customer service, to facilitate efficient loan processing and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Reporting Duties: Assist in the creation and maintenance of operational reports, monitor performance metrics, and identify potential areas for enhancement.
  • Client Interaction: Address inquiries related to loan processing, provide updates on application status, and assist in resolving any issues that may arise during processing.
  • Process Optimization: Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and offer feedback to the Loan Processing Operations Manager to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in loan processing or a comparable operational role.
  • Strong understanding of loan processing protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in loan processing software and tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and precision in handling loan documentation and data.
  • Strong communication skills, with the capability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other departments.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
