About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon BBN Technologies. As a key member of our Physical Sciences and Systems group, you will be responsible for developing and initiating advanced research and development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise in analog and digital electronics circuit design to develop hardware solutions for analyzing physical phenomena.
  • Lead significant portions of large programs and coordinate efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Develop and demonstrate cutting-edge solutions for important problems.
  • Responsibility to lead multidisciplinary teams from conceptual development to production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of experience in electronic circuit design and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to prove a conceptual design and develop a complete hardware design with verification via test and integration.
  • Prior hardware engineering background in both Digital and Analog Circuit Design.
  • Ability to perform circuit simulation and analysis using Spice, LT Spice and MATLAB.
  • Experience writing test procedures, conducting tests, and proficient in use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
Desired Skills
  • Experience in analog sensor interface design utilizing ICP, CVLD, Acoustic and IR transducers.
  • Experience in Anti-aliasing and reconstruction filter design, A/D and D/A interfacing.
  • Experience in low power electronics design for use in battery applications.
  • Experience with schematic capture and board layout using tools such as ORCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro.
  • Experience in design using Altera and Xilinx FPGA/CPLD.
