Job Summary

Harvard University seeks a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Energy & Facilities team. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on utility infrastructure planning, design, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering plans and designs for utility infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including utility companies and government agencies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on utility infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and operation
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with utility infrastructure planning, design, and operations
  • Knowledge of energy management systems and building management systems
  • Experience with project management software and tools
