Ensures an adequate supply of cash for the financial institution's requirements based on legal standards and business demand. Orders cash supplies and verifies incoming cash. Maintains teller cash drawers within required limits.

Facilitates customer access to safe deposit boxes, adhering to specified procedures.

Monitors security protocols and controls access to the vault.

Issues written and verbal instructions.

Analyzes and standardizes teller procedures to enhance the efficiency of subordinates.

Collects information and completes Currency Transaction Reports, submitting them to the BSA Officer.

Oversees Currency Transaction Reports and Official Checks Logs. Prepares Suspicious Activity Reports when necessary.

Acts as a lead teller.

Greets customers and provides exceptional customer service.

Processes Night Depository, ATM, and Bank-by-mail deposits.

Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsements, and issues receipts for deposit amounts.

Imposes holds on checks accepted for deposits when warranted, in accordance with regulations.

Cashes checks after verifying customer signatures and balances. Obtains positive identification of payees.


Explains, promotes, and/or sells bank products or services such as traveler's checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier's checks.

Maintains an appropriate log of cash sales of Cashier's Checks and traveler's checks as required by the Bank Secrecy Act.

Accepts utility bill and loan payments.

Processes TT&L and EFTPS payments and cash advances.

Implements stop payments on checks and drafts as requested by customers.

Assists customers in preparing documentation for debit card disputes.

Balances teller cash drawers and cash vaults daily.

Verifies next-day new account information and account file maintenance.

Accepts information for outgoing wire transfers.

Assists in organizing bank records/documentation.

Opens and processes mail as required.

Answers telephone calls, takes messages, forwards calls, and provides assistance to customers.

Orders supplies for tellers/department.

Prepares and submits timecard/timesheet information. Maintains attendance records.

Cross-trains in other areas.

Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Reports to work regularly and punctually. Contributes as a team player.

Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, and in-service meetings.

Maintains established departmental and Bank policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance.

Other duties as assigned.
