Job Summary:

The EBO Supervisor is a key leader who oversees the daily operations of the EBO team. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure seamless interactions with staff, patients, and external partners. The supervisor will work closely with the nurse manager to coordinate processes, patient flow, and department operations. Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating with the nurse manager to ensure efficient department operations

Providing administrative support to the operational aspects of the department

Serving as a liaison between the nurse manager and ED clerical staff

Helping to organize scheduling and daily assignments

Providing evaluation and performance input to the nurse manager

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Prior experience in a customer service role

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of medical terminology, prior experience with medical insurance, and working knowledge of HIPAA, Corporate Compliance, and Regulations
