General Overview:
The Student Leadership and Involvement division is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Program Board Coordinator. This position is essential in overseeing and guiding the University Program Board executive members in the planning, execution, and evaluation of campus-wide events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Oversee the Graduate Assistant and undergraduate executive board members, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
- Event Management: Advise the University Program Board in executing diverse programming, including concerts and community-building events.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the largest student organization budget, ensuring responsible allocation and usage of resources.
- Contract Negotiation: Direct the negotiation of contracts for events, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Assessment and Improvement: Collaborate with leadership to develop assessment strategies for program enhancement.
- Marketing Strategy: Guide marketing initiatives for events, utilizing analytics to optimize outreach efforts.
- Collaboration: Build and maintain partnerships with various university stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of programming.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of campus programming.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience in higher education or student affairs programming.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
