Job Title: LPN Wellness Nurse

Maplewood at Southport LLC is seeking a skilled LPN Wellness Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Resident Services Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Resident Services Department associates, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of the medication program, ensuring residents receive timely and accurate medication administration.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Report significant incidents and changes in resident needs to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
  • Support the completion of resident assessments and service plans, collaborating with the Resident Services Director to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist with clinical assessments and recertifications, adhering to ALSA requirements and ensuring compliance.
  • Participate in the training and orientation of new associates, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training sessions, and associate meetings, staying up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants, ensuring adequate coverage and support.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Resident Services Department associates, fostering growth and development.
  • Support residents and families as needed, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s).
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification.
  • Two years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience.
  • Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Experience and/or special interest working with seniors.
