Job Summary

The Manor of Kenosha seeks a skilled LPN to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing functions performed by our Nursing Assistants. As a key member of our care team, you will coordinate all aspects of a resident's care with other disciplines in the center, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for our residents and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the admission and discharge process, ensuring a smooth transition for our residents.
  • Complete accident and incident reports, following up on investigations as necessary.
  • Transcribe physician orders and document all resident information, notifying physicians and family members as needed.
  • Review medication orders for completeness and accuracy, ensuring our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Prepare and administer medication as ordered by physicians, maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Participate in care planning and conferences, updating care plans as needed to ensure our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all disciplines, ensuring our residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
  • Must be currently licensed to practice as an LPN in this state.
  • Should be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.

Required Licenses or Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse
