Responsibilities- Assist in the admission and discharge process, ensuring a smooth transition for our residents.
- Complete accident and incident reports, following up on investigations as necessary.
- Transcribe physician orders and document all resident information, notifying physicians and family members as needed.
- Review medication orders for completeness and accuracy, ensuring our residents receive the best possible care.
- Prepare and administer medication as ordered by physicians, maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Participate in care planning and conferences, updating care plans as needed to ensure our residents receive the best possible care.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all disciplines, ensuring our residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Must be currently licensed to practice as an LPN in this state.
- Should be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
Required Licenses or Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse
