Position Overview:

The Financial Services Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Financial Services Office by delivering precise assessments of student accounts through direct engagement with students, guardians, and the academic community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students and guardians with payment processing in the office and provide guidance on payment plan options and online transactions.
  • Manage departmental deposits and address inquiries related to Saint Card, meal plans, and billing both in person and through electronic communication.
  • Perform various clerical duties daily, including handling phone calls, responding to emails, and returning voicemails.
  • Oversee the processing and maintenance of external scholarships, loan returns, and verify account balances for transcript requests.
  • Assist families with inquiries regarding 1098T forms.
  • Responsible for the daily reconciliation of bank deposits and cash handling.
  • Provide backup support for clerical operations as needed.

Compensation:
Salary range: $18.94/hour - $19.89/hour. This reflects the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with applicable salary transparency laws.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of relevant office experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and time management skills are necessary.
  • Experience in public-facing roles and cashiering is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot account discrepancies and possess general computer knowledge and basic accounting skills.
  • Familiarity with an ID Card System is preferred.
  • A background screening will be conducted.
