Job Title: Room Attendant

Loews Regency New York Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all assigned rooms and bathrooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Follow the designated sequence of room assignments to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
  • Clean guestroom windows to hotel standards and replace all amenities and linens according to hotel standards.
  • Keep cart and linen closets clean and orderly, and report any irregularities or discrepancies to your supervisor.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Anticipate guest needs, demonstrating sensitivity and responsiveness to ensure complete guest satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing information and services as needed.
  • Adhere to OSHA regulations and hotel policies and procedures regarding emergencies, safe work practices, and wearing of protective gear as necessary.
  • Perform all duties in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
  • Service orientation and ability to work as part of a dynamic quality-driven team.
  • Basic English language skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively during entire shift.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:

The Room Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods, as well as working in a clean and safe environment.
