Role Overview:
As a pivotal member of the management team, the Retail Operations Supervisor collaborates closely with the Store Manager to drive sales and enhance the overall shopping experience. The primary objective is to cultivate an atmosphere that is both engaging and inspiring for customers while promoting continuous team development and fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, collaboration, innovation, and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Representation

  • Embodies the brand values and collaborates with store leadership to create an appealing visual presentation that resonates with customers.
  • Assists the Store Manager in optimizing product flow, enhancing operational efficiency, and visual merchandising to craft a compelling retail environment.
  • Encourages a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere by focusing on delivering authentic customer experiences that are engaging, efficient, and personalized; utilizes customer feedback and team insights to enhance store interactions.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Actively participates in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of a diverse and motivated team; takes ownership of personal development and professional growth.
  • Provides timely and constructive feedback to foster a culture of accountability; ensures a comprehensive onboarding process for new hires and equitable development opportunities for all team members.
  • Evaluates staffing needs and assists in managing team availability and scheduling to align with business demands.

Visual Merchandising and Operational Excellence

  • Works with the leadership team to analyze product performance and identify successes and areas for improvement; empowers the team to make strategic, creative, and impactful business decisions.
  • Ensures adherence to scheduling and timekeeping policies through diligent payroll management.
  • Boosts store sales by delivering exceptional customer service, analyzing key performance metrics, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and presentable store environment and promptly addresses maintenance and technology issues.
  • Translates corporate directives into actionable strategies that enhance store presentation and productivity to drive sales.
  • Upholds safety standards, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company policies to support store profitability.

Communication and Relationship Building

  • Promotes an inclusive workplace by amplifying diverse voices and perspectives.
  • Encourages strong communication and teamwork; ensures that vital information is effectively disseminated throughout the team.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the Reclectic brand and its values.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a retail setting.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring and developing top talent.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising processes and their impact on business performance.
  • Experience in coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
