Position Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across various units. Your expertise will be vital in delivering exceptional service in the following areas:
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Medical/Surgical Units
- DOU Stepdown
- Cardiac/Stroke Care
- Orthopedic/Oncology Services
- Emergency Department
- Labor & Delivery
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will vary by unit but generally include:
- Delivering patient-centered care
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Monitoring patient progress and outcomes
- Educating patients and families
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Valid California RN License
- BLS Certification (additional certifications may be required based on unit)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Minimum of 1 year of acute hospital experience (requirements may vary by unit)
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Starting at $68.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on experience and union pay scale.
