About the Role

Scripps Health is seeking a skilled Medical Echocardiographer to join our Echocardiography Department at Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures to support the care of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assess cardiac function and structure
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and other diagnostic imaging devices
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in echocardiography and other diagnostic imaging modalities
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal use of resources
Requirements
  • ARDMS or CCI certification
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Experience in structural heart procedures and inpatient care is preferred
