As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation of care services to patients. This role requires a strong understanding of cross-cultural healthcare and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume a leadership role in primary care and participate in panel management and population-based care.
  • Analyze population data to identify high-impact interventions and develop plans to implement care services that meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions for patients.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and develop treatment plans that address their specific needs.
  • Use electronic health records to document clinical activity and manage patient populations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in primary care.
Requirements
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant education and certification.
  • Three years of experience in primary care with a focus on cross-cultural healthcare.
  • Valid Alaska State driver's license and insurability under the Tribe's policy.
  • Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants/Advance Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.
  • Current Alaska Licensure and DEA certificate.
  • BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultural populations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

This position is a covered position subject to all requirements of the Alaska Barrier Crimes Act (ABCA) and the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act (ICPA). ABCA and ICPA requirements apply and must be complied with at all times to remain in the position.
