Job Title: Assisted Living Medication Aide
About the JobWe are seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Birchwoods At Canco Assisted Living. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job SummaryThe Certified Medication Aide is responsible for assisting residents with medication administration, as well as providing personal care and support with daily living activities. This includes bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
You will work closely with our licensed nurses and other care staff to ensure the highest level of care and service is provided to our residents.
Requirements- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1-year of previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification in states where required)
