Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to join our dynamic team at Stanford University. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in supporting the conduct of clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with investigators, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical research studies from start-up to close-out, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify and engage eligible study participants.
  • Collect and manage patient and laboratory data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory documents, including Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewals and study reports.
  • Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in monitor visits and regulatory audits to ensure adherence to research protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Relevant graduate degree and 3 years of experience in clinical research preferred.
  • Experience with research protocols and regulatory or governing bodies, including HIPAA and FDA regulations, Institutional Review Board requirements, and Good Clinical Practices.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Working Conditions

This position may require working with or being in areas where hazardous materials and/or exposure to chemicals, blood, body fluid or tissues and risk of exposure to contagious diseases and infections.

May require extended or unusual work hours based on research requirements and business needs.

Occasional evening and weekend hours.
