We are seeking a Senior Associate in Financial Crimes Analytics within our Consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various financial institutions in managing financial crime issues, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) compliance across all defense lines.
  • Assist in financial services compliance initiatives under the guidance of the national financial crimes leadership.
  • Help identify, escalate, and manage engagement risks for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to engagement planning, including work plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Stay informed about current market trends and emerging regulatory requirements.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:

  • Oversee parts of engagements, supervise junior team members, and provide training and direction to associates.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in financial crimes compliance, corporate intelligence, or due diligence within financial or professional services, or with relevant regulatory agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CAMS or CFE are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of money laundering schemes and the legal landscape surrounding AML and sanctions.
  • Experience in evaluating and enhancing financial crime compliance programs is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in auditing or quality assurance of AML and OFAC controls.
  • Proficient in report writing and familiar with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80-100%.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associates:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in financial crimes compliance.
