Job Summary:

This position is for a highly skilled Space Systems Ground Lead to lead a team in the development and execution of space ground systems engineering activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in space ground engineering, IT integration, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development, and testing of space ground systems
  • Collaborate with government leadership to plan, organize, and execute acquisition and engineering activities throughout the system life cycle
  • Provide expert-level space ground engineering analysis and recommendations to support program decisions
  • Represent ground equities in system engineering processes and ensure alignment with program objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Experience with Intelligence Community and/or Department of Defense architectures
  • Bachelor's with 14 years or Master's with 12 years relevant experience
  • Technical skills related to space ground systems hardware and software
  • Ability to lead and be the primary point of contact for projects
  • Effective interpersonal, briefing, and writing skills
  • Ability to communicate technical subjects to diverse audiences
  • Effective communication, coordination, and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment
