Space Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Systems Engineer to support the next generation development of our Advanced Fire Control Cell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical input and advice to the Program Manager
  • Serve in a Systems Engineering role to support designs review, test procedures, and provide feedback and recommendations
  • Ensure the vendor's satellites will meet SDA's architecture needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, and math
  • Minimum of 8 years experience with satellite and fire control systems
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Strong Experience in requirements development and tracking
  • Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction
  • Experience in systems engineering
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in science, technology, engineering, and math
  • 8 years experience with satellite fire control systems
  • Agile framework experience including use of Jira/Confluence
  • Experience DoD and or IC customers
  • Current experience with space systems
