About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Lead Preschool Teacher. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young learners.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and enforce a positive and respectful classroom environment
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Manage classroom activities, including lessons, play, breaks, and meals, to ensure a smooth and productive day
  • Monitor and track children's progress, providing regular updates to parents
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Support children in reaching developmental milestones, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth
  • Provide close supervision and care for children at all times, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  • Manage classroom materials and supplies, maintaining an accurate inventory system
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with toddlers in any capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including 7 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Child Development or Early Education, with a copy of the degree provided
  • At least 12 units to 24 units in Child Development or Early Education, with a copy of school transcripts provided
  • Teachers Permit, with higher negotiable pay
