**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Project Coordinator to join our team at Iteris. This role involves working with state, regional, and local agencies to deliver transportation planning and engineering projects that improve communities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform transportation, traffic, or systems engineering work in the development of traffic signal timing, intelligent transportation systems, active transportation, transportation design and/or operations projects.
  • Develop design plans and specifications; prepare systems engineering analysis, reports and budget estimates, and analyze traffic and transportation operational systems under the direction of senior engineering staff.
  • Coordinate with Iteris staff, public agencies, contractors, vendors, and other consultants.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in transportation engineering, transportation planning, or related field.
  • Familiar with tools such as Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.

The estimated salary for this role is between $71,000 and $85,000 based on the job requirements and location.
