Job Details
Provider Healthcare is seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join their regional newborn hospitalist team. Located in eastern North Carolina, this 9-hospital healthcare system offers an exciting opportunity for PNP-AC, NNP, or Physician Assistant candidates to provide inpatient pediatric care at three hospitals. The selected individual will be responsible for rounding and coordinating care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients, attending high-risk deliveries, and participating in resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as needed. With a schedule that includes 10-24/7 unrestricted call per month and 24 hours of on-site coverage, the ideal candidate must possess excellent clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 2 years of NICU experience, NC RN licensure, and NC Nurse Practitioner or PA licensure. National Board Certification as a Pediatric NP-AC, Neonatal NP, or PA is also required, along with maintenance. The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 annually, based on location and experience.
