About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC. The successful candidate will provide compassionate and expert care to critically ill newborns and their families.

The NICU at ECU Health Medical Center is a Level III neonatal intensive care unit that provides 24/7 care to patients with complex medical conditions. Our team of skilled professionals works together to provide individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Job Description
  • Job Summary: Provide nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families in the NICU setting.
  • Responsibilities:
  1. Assess patient's physical and emotional needs and develop individualized care plans.
  2. Implement nursing interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  2. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or eligible for licensure in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
  3. 1+ year of experience in neonatal nursing, preferably in a Level III NICU setting.
  4. Basic Life Support certification.
Estimated Salary Range:

$84,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
