About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team as a District Support Pharmacist. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in supporting the management and operation of our pharmacies, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Develop and implement patient care programs, provide education and counseling to patients, and stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring our pharmacies meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure our pharmacies consistently meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and develop the skills of pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records to ensure our pharmacies are well-stocked and efficient.
  • Financial Profitability: Analyze financial data, identify areas for cost savings, and implement strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks, implementing measures to prevent losses and ensure the security of our pharmacies and assets.
  • Workflow Management: Streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the smooth operation of our pharmacies, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Hold a current and active pharmacy license in the state where you will be employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Possess immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, including a review of your DEA registration and any pending felony charges or convictions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
