Job Title: Associate Producer, NBA Radio

At SiriusXM, we're seeking a highly skilled Associate Producer to join our NBA Radio team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality audio output for our live and taped programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain studio sound equipment to record, edit, and mix audio for live and taped programs.
  • Collaborate with producers, talent, and directors to develop creative promos and sound ideas to enhance program content.
  • Ensure that on-air product meets broadcast standards by checking equipment and show logs prior to going on air.
  • Work with producers and talent to develop and implement programming clocks to ensure all content and advertisements are featured as planned.
  • Coordinate the mix of music and sound for assigned shows, ensuring levels are mixed properly.
  • Provide cues and support to talent to facilitate program continuity.
  • Screen incoming calls and selectively choose callers to go on-air to enhance program content.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with guest booking and research.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience running an audio board.
  • Proficiency in ISDN & IP Codec operation.
  • Operating studio sound equipment.
  • Mixing sound elements into a professional sounding product.
